Alfaaz Issue #3 GRRRL Party Event and Graphic Design

Graphic assets designed for the third issue release of Alfaaz magazine. The brand developed a hot pink accent color as an homage to the riot grrrl movement of the 90's.
A collection of four posters was designed and distributed in Midtown and Soho promoting the launch of Alfaaz issue #3. The event brought together four female-fronted punk bands from across NYC to play one free event as a celebration of women in the punk scene. The poster pays homage to zine culture and the aesthetic of Alfaaz zine by digitizing hand-drawn elements and textures and collaging them with modern graphic design software.
